Heath Ritenour Brings Leadership Experience to Insurance Office of America

Heath Ritenour understands the importance of experience in executive leadership positions, for he himself has been Insurance Office of America’s Chief Executive Officer for over a decade. Heath Ritenour recently made two new additions to the company’s executive leadership team, and both of the new leaders bring specialized experience.

Heath Ritenour Has Extensive Experience With IOA

Heath Ritenour’s experience with Insurance Office of America is much longer than his (already lengthy) tenure as the company’s CEO. His father was Chair of the Board and CEO for 20 years, and Heath learned the family business from his dad. He also spent 12 years working his way up through the ranks, starting as an Intern and eventually becoming CEO.

During the years when Heath Ritenour has been CEO, he’s led IOA on a strong growth path. The company’s annual revenues were $78 million in 2009, one year after Heath took over. Last year they totaled $238 million. That’s more than a 200 percent increase in just 11 years.

Stephanie Brewer Has Experience in Telecommunications

Stephanie Brewer is one of the two new executives that Heath Ritenour is bringing to Insurance Office of America’s team. Stephanie is a telecommunications veteran, specifically helping companies navigate compliance, operational efficiency, safety and training within the communications space.

Stephanie has been working in telecommunications for more than 14 years and has also corroborated with telecom tower construction companies. She’s previously served on the National Wireless Safety Alliance Task Force and the Written Exam Management Committee. Currently, she is the Chair of the Advisory Board for the Telecommunications Industry Registered Apprenticeship Program.

At IOA, Stephanie will be the Director of Telecommunications Safety and Compliance. She’ll work with both IOA and its clients in this capacity.

Jeffrey Moxley Brings Experience in Employee Benefits

Jeffrey Moxley is the other notable hire that Heath Ritenour has made. Jeffrey’s experience is in employee benefits, and he’s mostly worked in the Southeastern United States.

Jeffrey graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor’s of science and a master’s of science. He’s since spent 17 years helping companies with employee retention and benefits.

As a member of IOA’s executive team, Jeffrey will apply his expertise in the Southeastern U.S. markets, in order to help the company expand around the Tallahassee area. The entire region encompasses Northern Florida and Southern Georgia.

About Insurance Office of America

Insurance Office of America was founded in 1988 and originally offered insurance products throughout Florida. The company eventually expanded into the Southeastern United States, where it continues to grow through Jeffrey Moxley’s guidance. The company today, under the leadership of Heath Ritenour, has a nationwide presence with more than 1,300 team members across the country. 2020 revenues totaled $238 million thanks largely to the regional and nationwide expansion.
